Help

I don't want to spend my earned credits in VIP rooms and recorded movies, can you please help me?
Yes we can. We can lock down your virtual balance, which means you (and nobody else who knows your password) can not load credits to your balance anymore, and it's not possible either to spend a coin in a VIP show or on a prerecorded movie. We believe this is a bit drastic, but if you want to make sure your hard earned credits are always in a safe place, drop us a message. Please note this is a one decision, we will not take away the restriction once it's in effect.

What do I need to get started?
To publish your video, you should have a (web)camera installed on your computer. To be able to log in to the website and create a chat room, you should have already registered yourself as a model and have your profile information filled out. And at last the Adobe® Flash Player is required to publish your video feed. The installation of Flash Player is automatic, you will be prompted to install that the first time it is needed, but if it does not happen automatically, you have to go www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer, and proceed with the downloading and installation on that website.

How can I open a room?
You need to click on the "Start Chat Room" button on the toolbar, just below the "Logout" and "Balance" buttons. There you will need to choose the type room, and the number of credits the visitors will need to pay each minute in a VIP show. On the next screen, before you start the publishing, you will need to allow the Adobe® Flash Player to access your microphone and camera. Select "Allow", and tick "Remember" in order to bypass this question in the future.

I've opened a room, how long does it stay open?
As long as you stay in the room. If you refresh/reload the page, if you navigate away from that page (or screen if you prefer), if you close the browser or if you shut down your computer, the room will be closed immediately, all participants will be notified, that it is no longer active. There's no way to go back to a previously closed room, you will need to make a new one always.

What are these controls in the room?
These settings are meant to adjust the quality of the video feed. This is unavoidable, because the quality of the video feed being set depends on the type of internet connection you have, so if one doesn't have a very good internet connection, doesn't need to upgrade to a better one, or if one has a very good internet connection, he/she is not forced to an average quality. The room is started with a sort of automatic quality mode, which monitors the refresh rate of the camera, and the rate which the image is sent to our server, and based on the difference, it lowers or raises the quality. This is a kind of favor-speed quality setting, it helps to make the movement continuous, even if your internet connection is not the best one all around. The other quality settings include very low and low are meant for limited internet connections, the quality of the images (and the audio) is rather limited, you only have to choose this if the automatic mode didn't work out well, and your guests are complaining about the speed of the video feed. The average and high quality settings are quite okay, you can use them without loosing too much from the quality of the video, but you only need to choose this one, if you think the automatic mode didn't do it's job well. Important to note that the high quality setting is the most you can get out of the standard resolution (320x240). The last two quality settings are more different, those are hi-res modes (640x480). If you do not use camera sharing tools, your camera supports such a mode (most cameras does) and you have plenty of bandwidth left unused on your internet connection (512kbit upstream at minimum), then you can experiment with these quality settings. This two mode is not available in the automatic mode, so it will never be activated unless you explicitly select one of them. If you're using a camera sharing tool, then you should not select these modes, because such an application does not support switching the resolution, and in such a case the very high quality setting will result in a much worse quality than the high one, because the high mode is running on lower resolution, but perfect quality, while the very high one runs on higher resolution, but reduced quality. As a last note, regardless of what quality you chosen, regularly check the numbers next to the "framerate" text below the video window, because that's the best feedback you can get about what your visitors will see. If both numbers are low (below 8), then you probably do not have enough environmental light, but if the second one is far below the first one, then your internet connection could not handle the streaming of the video. In both cases your guests will see fragmented movements, which radically reduces the value of your performance. If both numbers are low, turn on some lights, if only the second is low, consider switching to lower quality, or reduce the number of programs using your internet connection. If nothing helps, you can still contact us, we might be able to give some hints too.

The image in the room is very slow, the movements are broken, why?
This can be due to numerous reasons. If the image is too dark, the light is not enough for the camera. The model might not set the proper parameters for the publishing. But it can be because of your internet connection, if the available bandwidth is not enough for the audio and video feed, the movements can become broken.

What kind of webcam or camera is supported?
Virtually all of them which can be connected to a computer. We use the Adobe® Flash Player for handling the feed, so what is supported by Adobe® Flash, that's supported by our application as well.
Top of page
What type and kind of camera is required?
There's no such a requirement. The general rule is that the better camera you have, the better quality you can achieve. But even with a cheaper webcam you can achieve good results if you have addequate light in the environment.

I would like to kick someone out, how can I do that?
In the lower left area of the screen, you see the list or participants, there you have to click on the name which you want to be kicked out, and press the icon with the human silhouette and a red cross on the right side of the list.
Top of page
I want to ban someone from my room!
You can not do that - explictly. Instead we made some sort of filtering mechanism, which based on the user's observed behavior, each time the user is kicked from a room, it takes more and more time before it can join the same room again. The maximum time of this automatic banning is between 30 seconds and 15 minutes by the time of writing this entry.

Why I should upload movies, why that's good for me?
If you upload movies, visitors can watch you performing even if you are not online, so this way you can gain credits 24 hours a day.
Top of page
How can I upload movies, what are the limitations?
On the toolbar click on the "Movies" button. On that screen, you will see the list of movies you already uploaded (if there's any), but clicking on the button below the list gives you the possibility of uploading a movie. You will need to select a movie file from your computer, give a short name to the movie, and type in a descrption, so our users will have an idea of what the movies is about. The more descriptive the description is, the more appealing the movie can be. You should also define the type/genre of the movie, and the number of credits you want to earn each minute if someone watches the movie. On the movie file you are uploading, there are some limitations:
You can only upload avi, wmv and mpeg files, anything other than this is not supported.
The maximum allowed size of the movie file is around 600 megabytes. This is a limitation on the size of the file, not on the length of the movie. Uploading large files over the internet can be very time consuming, on an today's average ADSL internet connection you can upload approximately 3 megabytes in one minute, so be very cautious when choosing a file. You can reduce the size of the movie file by saving it in different file format, by lowering the resolution of the movie, and by reducing the bitrate of the movie.

When and how I'm gaining credits when someone watches a movie I uploaded?
When the visitor clicks the play button in the movie, the counting starts at once, and as long as the movie is being played, you are gaining credits - in each second. Can I send pictures in private messages?
Yes you can send pictures with your private messages. Go to the "Messages" menu option, choose the message which you'd like to reply to, and just below the box with the message you are about to type, you can choose from the following two options: "Select an existing image" and "Upload a new one". The first one let's you choose a picture which you already used in your previous messages (so you don't need to find the file on your computer and upload it to our server again) based on the filename you used. You don't see this choice until you haven't sent any picture. Using the second option you can upload a new picture from your computer. After sending the message we do some automatized jobs on the picture, and if all goes fine, the recipient will see the image along with your message. You can use this feature to send personalized pictures, or exclusive content to the users of your choice.

How can I stop someone sending me private messages?
Open a message sent by the user who you'd like to block, and in the view pane, click on the little icon next to the user's name. You can check the list of blocked users by clicking on the "Blocked users" button on the "Messages" screen.

Do I need any special programs to see the live or recorded shows?
Besides of your favorite internet browser program you only need Adobe® Flash Player 9 installed. If you do not have that installed, you will be prompted to install that the first time you join a show or open a recorded movie, but if that does not happen for any reason, here's the link where you can download that: www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.

Could I exchange links and email addresses with others?

Why should I register as a studio?
Because this way you can manage all the models who belong to your account from a simple interface, and that the credits earned by the individual models are accumulated on your balance. At the end of each month *your* account will be checked for the minimum payout amount, and will be transferred to your bank account if you hit the limit. Then you settle the payment of the models as you (hopefully) mutually agreed upon.
Top of page
I have a model already, can I merge it into my studio account?
Yes you can! Log in with your studio account, go to the "Models" screen, and click the "Merge an existing model account" button on the bottom. You will need to specify the username, password and email address of the model acount you want to merge. All details, settings, and related information of the model account will be preserved.

Can not start a room with a model, why?
Probably because you either did not filled out the model's profile, or you did not uploaded any pictures yet. By not filling put the model's profile, besides that you can not start a room, the model will not be displayed in the list of models at all. Pictures are required to start a room. You are notified about these on the "Models" screen with icons.

How can I find out how much credits my models has earned?
You can always check out your current balance through the "Balance" menu. To check out how much credits the individual models has earned, go to the "Model stats" screen. Here you can query the credits earned by each model in two ways (at the moment), either since the last day we payed you out the credits from your balance, or by specific months. The second option is only available for those months when your models has generated any income at all.
Top of page
How much I can earn?
The amount of credits you will receive depends on the users you've invited, how much credits they buy, and what sort of payment method they've chosen. For example when loading 200 credits by SMS you would get 10%, when loading 400 or 800 credits, you would get 12,5% of the amounts loaded. In the case of online wire transfer, you get 15% of the loaded credits. If a model registered thanks to your own link, then you always get 10% of the credits earned by that model, all times.
